By accessing or using the website awavecorfu.com (“the Website”) or by making a booking with Alpha Wave, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users and customers of Alpha Wave. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Alpha Wave is a private boat rental company based in Paleokastritsa, Corfu, Greece. We offer no-license speedboat rentals for individuals, couples, families and small groups wishing to explore the coastline of Paleokastritsa.

- Our Services
Alpha Wave provides self-drive boat rental services without the requirement of a nautical licence, subject to the following conditions:
- Rentals are available for individuals aged 18 years or older.
- A safety briefing is provided to all customers before departure and is mandatory.
- Boats must be operated within the designated navigation area as indicated on the map provided at the time of rental.
- All boats are equipped with life jackets and required safety equipment in accordance with Greek maritime regulations.
- The maximum passenger capacity of each vessel must not be exceeded under any circumstances.
Rental services are subject to availability and weather conditions. Alpha Wave reserves the right to cancel or postpone rentals for safety reasons without penalty.
- Bookings and Reservations
Bookings can be made online via our website or by contacting us directly by phone or email. A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of written confirmation from Alpha Wave.
By making a booking, you confirm that:
- All information provided is accurate and complete.
- You are at least 18 years of age.
- You accept full responsibility for all passengers on board during the rental period.
- You have read and understood the safety rules and operating instructions provided.
- Payments and Cancellation Policy
Payment terms and cancellation conditions will be clearly communicated at the time of booking. As a general policy:
- Full payment or a deposit may be required to confirm a reservation.
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled rental may be eligible for a full or partial refund, at our discretion.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled rental may not be eligible for a refund.
- In the event of cancellation by Alpha Wave due to adverse weather or safety concerns, a full refund or rescheduling option will be offered.
Alpha Wave reserves the right to amend pricing at any time. Confirmed bookings will not be affected by subsequent price changes.
- Customer Responsibilities and Prohibited Conduct
By renting a boat from Alpha Wave, you agree to the following obligations:
- Operate the boat responsibly and in accordance with the instructions provided during the safety briefing.
- Remain within the designated navigation zone at all times.
- Do not operate the boat under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any substance that impairs judgement or reaction time.
- Ensure all passengers wear life jackets when required.
- Do not carry more passengers than the vessel’s maximum capacity.
- Do not engage in dangerous manoeuvres, racing or reckless behaviour.
- Do not damage reefs, marine protected areas or wildlife habitats.
- Immediately report any accident, damage or mechanical issue to Alpha Wave.
Violation of any of the above may result in immediate termination of the rental without refund and may give rise to liability for any resulting damage.
- Damage, Loss and Liability
The customer is fully responsible for any damage caused to the rental vessel or equipment during the rental period, except in cases of pre-existing damage documented prior to departure.
A damage assessment will be conducted upon return of the vessel. The customer agrees to pay the cost of any damage caused through misuse, negligence or breach of these Terms.
Alpha Wave shall not be liable for:
- Personal injury or death arising from failure to follow safety instructions or from reckless conduct by the customer or passengers.
- Loss or damage to personal belongings brought on board.
- Delays or cancellations caused by weather conditions, technical issues or events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).
Customers are strongly encouraged to take out personal travel insurance that covers water sports and boat rental activities.
- Weather and Safety
The safety of our customers is our highest priority. Alpha Wave reserves the right to refuse or cancel a rental at any time if weather conditions, sea state or any other safety concern makes it inadvisable to proceed.
Customers must follow all instructions given by Alpha Wave staff and local maritime authorities. In the event of deteriorating weather conditions during a rental, customers must return to the dock immediately as instructed.
- Intellectual Property
All content on the Website, including but not limited to text, images, logos, graphics, videos and design, is the exclusive property of Alpha Wave or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or use any content from this Website for commercial purposes without the prior written consent of Alpha Wave.
- Use of the Website
You agree to use this Website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Website or its systems.
- Introduce malware, viruses or any harmful code.
